The European Space Agency is organising POLinSAR 2019, the 9th International Workshop on Science and Applications of SAR Polarimetry and Polarimetric Interferometry, to be hosted in ESRIN, Frascati, Italy from 28th January to 1st February 2019.

The Workshop is open to:

No participation fees will be charged. Participants are expected to finance their own travel and accommodation expenses.

The official language of the workshop is English.

PolinSAR traditionally offers  the publication of the research papers in a  peer-reviewed journal with a high impact factor and we expect this will be the case also for the 2019 PolinSAR edition.
In PolinSAR 2017 the results have been published in MDPI Remote Sensing, a peer-reviewed open access journal with the focus on science and application of remote sensing technology. Remote Sensing has a rapid publication (manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 24 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 4.9 days) and the current Impact Factor is 3.406 (2017) and 5-Year Impact Factor 3.952 (2017).
